Controller and scope
Invoice Generator is operated by TechRex, a sole proprietorship of Gummadi Ramesh Babu based in Pandalapaka, Andhra Pradesh, India, and is published at invoice.gen.in. This policy covers the Invoice Generator website and the invoice-generation workflow it provides. There is no account, and no personal login is required to use the tool.
Invoice data you enter stays in your browser
Invoice content — your business details, customer details, line items, quantities, prices, taxes, notes and any other invoice fields you type — is processed inside your browser to render the invoice and to produce the downloadable PDF. TechRex does not require you to submit this content to us to use the tool, and the tool is not designed to send your invoice content to TechRex servers. Any local persistence (for example, remembering your last invoice in your browser) is stored on your device and can be cleared by clearing site data in your browser.
Information the website automatically receives
Like any website, invoice.gen.in automatically receives standard technical information from your browser — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP — which is used for security, abuse prevention, and understanding aggregate usage.
How information is used
Automatic technical information and analytics are used to keep the tool secure and available, to fix bugs and to understand how it is used at an aggregate level. Advertising data, where advertising is enabled, is used by the advertising provider to select, deliver and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud, in accordance with that provider's own policies. TechRex does not sell personal information.
Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the tool and in showing non-personalised advertising where you have not consented to personalisation; and compliance with legal obligations.
Third-party services
To deliver Invoice Generator we rely on standard web hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, and — where enabled — third-party advertising and analytics services (including Google AdSense and, if used, Google Analytics). These providers process limited technical information for the purposes described above under their own privacy policies.
Data retention
Because invoice content stays in your browser, its retention depends on your own browser and device — clear your browser storage to remove it. Server logs and aggregate analytics are retained for a rolling period appropriate to their purpose (typically no longer than 12 months) unless we are required to keep them longer for security investigations or legal reasons.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act 2023, GDPR / UK GDPR and CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal information we hold about you, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, to portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. Under the CCPA, TechRex does not "sell" personal information as that term is defined; where third-party advertising is enabled, certain data flows to advertising providers may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you may opt out through the cookie/consent banner where presented. Children
Invoice Generator is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
