Who we are
This Privacy Policy is issued by TechRex, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Gummadi Ramesh Babu, based in Pandalapaka, Andhra Pradesh, India ("TechRex", "we", "us", "our"). It applies to the TechRex website at techrex.in, our marketing and support communication, and — in combination with each product's own privacy page — the products we publish (FinTrackX, Invoice Generator, Cricket Companion and Rummy Score Card). Scope of this policy
This company-level policy covers information handled through the TechRex website, contact forms, email correspondence, business discussions and general product-agnostic operations. Each TechRex product has its own privacy page describing what that specific product collects, why, and how long it is kept. Where a product page conflicts with this company page for that product, the product page controls.
Information we collect
On the TechRex website we collect only the information you choose to send us. That is limited to (a) contact details you provide through email or a contact form — typically your name, email address and message body; and (b) basic technical information generated automatically by any website, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP, for security, abuse prevention and traffic analysis. The website does not require an account, does not process payments, and does not knowingly host personal data of children under 18.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to respond to your inquiry, provide product support, keep the website secure and available, understand aggregate usage, comply with our legal obligations, and defend legal claims where necessary. We do not sell personal information, we do not share personal information with data brokers, and we do not use website-visitor information for behavioural advertising.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: (i) your consent, for non-essential cookies and marketing communication where required; (ii) performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, when you contact us about a product; (iii) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our website and responding to inquiries, balanced against your rights; and (iv) compliance with legal obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may additionally nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, and you may request grievance redressal. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) you have the right to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale or sharing (TechRex does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, email support@techrex.in from the address associated with your data; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Data retention
We keep contact-form and email correspondence only for as long as needed to answer your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and legal record-keeping, and then delete or anonymise it. Server logs and aggregated analytics are retained for a rolling period appropriate to their purpose (typically no longer than 12 months) unless we are required to keep them longer for security investigations or legal reasons.
Third-party service providers
The TechRex website is delivered through third-party hosting, DNS and content-delivery infrastructure, and outbound email is handled through standard email providers. These providers process limited technical information only to deliver the service to you and are contractually or by policy prohibited from using that information for their own purposes. Where any TechRex product uses additional providers (for example, Google Sign-In for Cricket Companion, or Google AdMob for Rummy Score Card), those providers are named in the corresponding product privacy page.
International data transfers
TechRex is based in India. If you contact us from outside India, your information will be transferred to and processed in India and in the countries where our infrastructure providers operate. Where such transfers are made from the EEA, UK or other regions that require a transfer mechanism, we rely on the recipient country's adequacy status or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures — including transport encryption (HTTPS), least-privilege access to our systems, and vendor selection — to protect the information we handle. No internet-based service can be guaranteed 100% secure; if you believe your interaction with TechRex has been compromised, contact support@techrex.in.
Children's privacy
The TechRex website and our business-oriented products are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@techrex.in and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where required by law we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the TechRex website after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
